Terms of service

The rules for the Synapsi account. Each app has its own terms as well.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

What these cover. The Synapsi account and the services attached to it. Each app has its own terms, on its own site, for the app itself — including anything you buy through a store. Where the two speak about the same thing, the app's terms govern that app.

1. Who we are

The account service is provided by Ubiquitous S.r.l., Via Ariosto 25, 00185 Roma, Italia, P.IVA 17584931004. Creating an account means accepting these terms.

2. The account

You may hold an account if you can enter into a contract where you live. You are responsible for what is done with your credentials, and for keeping them: as the privacy policy says, what your account holds is sealed with a key we do not have, so we cannot restore access or contents if that key is lost. This is a property of the design, not a limit of our support.

One person, one account, used by you. You may not resell access to it or use it to carry someone else's traffic.

3. What the service does, and what it does not promise

The account stores a sealed blob and hands it back to your devices. It is provided as is: we do not warrant that it is free of errors or available without interruption, and it is not a certified security system.

We keep a copy of what you store, but the account is not a backup in the sense of something you should rely on as your only copy — it holds the current version of your settings, not their history.

4. Fair use, where a plan includes the tunnel

A plan that includes the tunnel carries a monthly allowance, stated in that app's terms and on its pricing page. It exists because the camera limit alone bounds nothing: one camera left streaming permanently would move more in a month than any plan can carry.

When the allowance is spent, the tunnel stops opening new streams until the month turns over. A stream already running is never cut, so a month can end slightly over the allowance. Nothing else stops: cameras on your own network keep working, and so does a relay you host yourself.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for complying with applicable law, including law on privacy, video surveillance and filming people. You may not use the account or the tunnel to carry traffic that is not yours, to attack or scan third parties, or to work around a limit of the plan you bought.

We may suspend an account that is being used that way, and we will say why.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid in the preceding twelve months for the plan concerned. Liability the law does not permit to be excluded, such as wilful misconduct and gross negligence, is unaffected. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives consumers.

7. Changes, and ending

We may update these terms; a material change is announced in the apps' release notes and changes the date above. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app, which deletes what it holds. If we discontinue the account service we will say so in advance, and an active paid plan that depends on it is refunded for the part not used, through the store that sold it.

8. Governing law

Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence or domicile remain competent; for other relationships the courts of Rome are competent.
